I have read here in the forums a bit, a lot of the accounts were 10 years old. GONE Honorbuddy is gone. Bossland also referenced the Glider bot, the makers of whom Blizzard successfully sued inand suggested that Blizzard may have put extra effort into detecting the Honorbuddy bot after coming out bpt the short end of a previous legal action against it earlier this month.

So it would appear that Blizzard has been working on improving its bot detection and has been trying it out for at least the last few days. Of course, the forums are full of honoebuddy who swear on their mothers that they did nothing wrong and were not using bots. If Blizzard has tuned its bot detection algorithms, it is very probable there will be more suspensions to come. Last night's suspensions likely marked the end of their countermeasures testing. We always say, do not use your valuable accounts as the risk is always there.
